Privacy policy

Short version: the desktop app keeps your servers, keys and snippets on your own machine. This website only collects what you type into an enquiry form, and we use it to answer you.

The desktop application

LaConsola runs entirely on your computer. Connection details, host keys, saved passwords and snippet definitions are written to local storage and, for secrets, to your operating system's credential store. XAMTA INFOTECH operates no account system, no sync service and no licence server, so none of this is transmitted to us.

The application does not include analytics, crash reporting or usage tracking. When you check for updates, it makes an ordinary request to the release host; no terminal content, command history or file contents are ever part of that request.

This website

• Enquiry forms ask for your name, email and message, plus the optional details shown on the form such as platform or phone number.
• We use those details only to reply to your enquiry, send the installer you requested and, if you tick the box, share release notes. You can ask us to stop at any time.
• We do not sell, rent or trade enquiry details, and we do not add you to any list you did not ask for.
• Messages are retained for as long as needed to support you and to keep a record of the request, then deleted.

Cookies and local storage

This site stores a single preference in your browser's local storage so the day or night theme you pick is remembered. There are no advertising cookies and no third-party profiling scripts.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it. Write to [email protected] or call +91 85111 33988 and we will action the request within a reasonable period.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the update date above changes with it. Questions about the licence or about commercial use belong with XAMTA INFOTECH, the owner of the LaConsola project.
